  1. Preheat oven at 180 deg.celcius
  2. Grease baking tray with butter or ghee,set aside
  3. In a bowl seive all ingredients maida,coco powder, baking powder, baking soda
  4. Cut the butter (frozen,amul butter) into small pieces and rub it in flour mixture with fingers until butter is reduced in small size
  5. Stir in chocolate chips,dry fruits, cherries
  6. In another bowl whisk buttermilk and vanilla extract together,add it to the flour mix stir just ough comes together
  7. Place dough out on a lightly floured surface,make 6 inch round
  8. Cut the round in to 6 equal wedges
  9. Transfer wedges to baking tray
  10. Brush lightly with butter or milk
  11. Bake for 18- 20 minutes or until golden brown, or toothpick comes out clean
  12. Remove from oven and place on a wire rack to cool

Tender chocolate scones packed with semisweet chocolate chips and cloaked in a rich chocolate glaze- a chocolate lover's dream. For my brother-in-law's birthday this past weekend, Zach and I joined both of his brothers for a brief stay in Atlantic City, New Jersey to celebrate.
