The ingredients needed to make Chili:
Prepare 1 green pepper chopped
Take 1 red pepper chopped
Take 1 onion chopped
Get 1 # Ground Beef (your choice of lean)
Get 2 pkg chili spices (I used Mccormick's)
Take 2 (28 oz) cans crushed tomato
Make ready 1 (14.5 oz) can of diced tomato
Take 1 can kidney beans
Take 1 # Beef Chuck cubed
Make ready Also needed
Take Olive Oil
Take Salt
Prepare Pepper
Steps to make Chili:
Using about 1 Tablespoon olive oil, saute veggies in pot adding salt and pepper to taste, on medium heat.
Cook down on medium heat until soft. Add a little more olive oil if needed while cooking and then transfer to separate dish.
Brown Ground beef and strain
Same for Beef Chuck
Everyone goes back in the pot on medium heat with a bit more olive oil. Mix together.
Lower heat and add tomatoes and spice packets. Mix and Simmer for an hour. Mixing occassionally.
Add Kidney Beans and simmer for another hour.
Enjoy! Serve with noodles, fritos, cheese, onion, corn bread, jalepeno…..whatever you like!
