Whisk together the vinegar, salt, sugar, celery salt, pepper and garlic in a large bowl until combined.

The ingredients needed to make Country Slaw:
  1. Prepare 1/2 Head Green Cabbage, chopped
  2. Take 3-4 Roma Tomatoes, diced
  3. Take 1 Cup Helmann's Mayo
  4. Get 1/2 Cup Milk
  5. Prepare 4 Tbsps. Granulated Sugar
  6. Take 1-2 tsps. Salt
  7. Make ready 2 tsps. Black Pepper

No mayo coleslaw was used because these dishes would sit out in the heat for long periods of time! In a large bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, sugar, salt, onion powder, and celery seeds. Add the shredded cabbage and toss or stir until well coated. Mayonnaise and buttermilk make the dressing creamy and tangy..

Steps to make Country Slaw:
  1. In a large mixing/storage bowl add the chopped cabbage and diced tomatoes. Set aside. In a small mixing bowl add mayo, sugar, milk, salt. Mix til combined and creamy. Pour over cabbage and tomatoes. Add the black pepper. Mix everything together til well combined. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate til ready to serve (just give a quick stir before serving after refrigerating).

Add the shredded cabbage and toss or stir until well coated. Mayonnaise and buttermilk make the dressing creamy and tangy.. Pickled okra is stirred into Lowcountry Slaw. Serve this slaw as a side or on top of your favorite barbecue sandwich. Whisk together mayonnaise, vinegar, dijon mustard, sugar, and celery seed.
