My love for all type of beans forced me to I create this easy, hearty, gluten-free, vegetarian curry which tastes scrumptious. But the thing is that, I never realised that a mixed beans curry would be so damn delicious. Each of the bean has it own texture, flavor and together in a curry they made a wonderful combo for the tastebuds.

Once onions are translucent, add crushed tomatoes along with mixed beans. Indian Beans Curry is a delicious mixed beans curry made by cooking five types of beans in an onion-tomato gravy flavored with Indian spices. This easy beans curry is vegan and gluten-free. Any Indian beans curry and rice is one of my favorite things to eat.

Steps to make Mixed beans curry:
  1. Heat oil in a saucepan, add onion cook until soft and slightly golden.
  2. Add ginger, garlic, curry leaves followed by curry powder and turmeric powder. Cook for a few seconds.
  3. Add rest of the spices. Open the can of beans. Drain a little of the water leaving the thick sauce in the can. Leave aside.
  4. Add the cut vegetables to the cooking spices. Season with salt as per taste. Cover and leave to cook for st least 5 -10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Half way through, add the beans to the pan. Stir gently and, cover and leave to simmer for another 5 minutes until all start to come together.
  6. Taste for seasoning and adjust accordingly.
  7. Turn the heat off and scatter freshly chopped coriander. Sprinkle over the garam masala.
  8. Serve warm with either boiled rice or flat bread.

This easy beans curry is vegan and gluten-free. Any Indian beans curry and rice is one of my favorite things to eat. Kabooli channa ( ಕಡಲೆ ಕಾಳು), Moth beans(ಮಟಕಿ ಕಾಳು), Black eyed beans (ಅವಡೆ ಕಾಳು), Whole moong (ಹೆಸರು ಕಾಳು), Cow peas (ಅಲಸಂದೆ ಕಾಳು ), these are the five legumes (whole seeds) used and prepared Mixed dry beans Curry. Basic concept is a spicy, watery curry made from sprouted mixed beans called misal served with pav or bread. It is served along with tomato chutney, chopped onions and 'farsan' (Indian snack mix).
