Mint Pulao is one of the most well liked of recent trending foods on earth. It’s enjoyed by millions every day. It’s easy, it is fast, it tastes yummy. They’re fine and they look wonderful. Mint Pulao is something that I have loved my entire life.

The ingredients needed to make Mint Pulao:
  1. Get 1/4 tbspn Poppy seeds -
  2. Prepare 5 strands Cilantro -
  3. Make ready 1/2 cup mint leaves -
  4. Get 1/2 cup Onion -
  5. Get 1 inch Ginger -
  6. Make ready Green chillies - as per your taste (I use 2 thai chilli)
  7. Get 2 Cooking oil tbspns -
  8. Take 1 tspn Mustard seeds -
  9. Get 1 inch Cinnamon stick -
  10. Prepare 2 Cloves -
  11. Prepare 2 Bay leaves -
  12. Make ready 4 Cardamom whole -
  13. Take 2 tspns Salt - (Or according to taste)
  14. Prepare 1 strand Curry leaves -
  15. Prepare 1/2 cup Onion chopped -
  16. Get 1/4 cup Carrot chopped -
  17. Get 1/4 cup Beans chopped long -
  18. Prepare 2 Potato chopped in big pieces -
  19. Take 1/4 cup Green peas -
  20. Make ready 2 cups Rice - (I used sona masuri rice but you can use basmati rice too).
  21. Get 4 cups Water - .
Steps to make Mint Pulao:
  1. First grind all the ingredients under "For grinding/paste".
  2. Wash the rice and keep it aside.
  3. Take a pressure cooker/pan. Add in the cooking oil.
  4. Once the oil is hot, add in the mustard seeds. After it crackles, add in the curry leaves and fry till moisture is removed.
  5. Now add cardamon seeds, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves and saute for few mins.
  6. Add chopped onions and the ground paste and fry few a min.
  7. Now add all the other veggies (green peas, carrot, beans, potato, beans) and saute for few 5 mins.
  8. Add in salt and water and once water starts boiling, add in the washed rice.
  9. Pressure cook this (3 whistles)
  10. Once done, mix it once again before you serve! (It goes well with cucumber and tomato raita).
