  1. Pre-heat the oven at gas mark 5 (190 C) In a bowl whisk the eggs, vanilla paste and the sugar together for about 6 minutes until of a pale colour. Sieve together the flour and the baking powder and set aside. Combine the mascarpone and the milk together and start adding to the bowl alternating wet and dried ingredients.
  2. Butter and flour a bundt cake tin and pour half of the cake mix. Add the berries and cover with the remaining butter. Bake for about 50 minutes or until the skewer is very dried. In the meantime prepare the icing and dust the berries for the decoration in cornflour and sugar. Once baked, let the ciambella cool down completely before taking out of the tin. Decorate as you prefer and serve at breakfast or with some fresh cream.
