  7. Get 1 tsp poppy seeds
  8. Make ready 1 piece Ginger

  10. Prepare 1 tsp chilli powder
  11. Get 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  12. Get 1 tsp salt
  13. Prepare Masala powder (optional)

Instructions to make Gurthi Vankaya Curry (Egg Plant):
  1. Chop the brinjal into 4 cuts in the middle of it without removing the stem and put it in salted water.
  2. Now add chillies,onion, cardamom, cinamanon,lavang,poppy seeds,ginger and garlic to the mixer jar and grind.
  3. Now stuff the ground paste into cuts of brinjal.
  4. Heat a pan and pour oil,add stuffed brinjals to the pan.
  5. Add the remaining ground paste to the pan and let it boil.
  6. Add chilli powder and turmeric powder.
  7. Flip the brinjals to the other side
  8. Check whether the brinjal is boiled or not. If it's boiled then add salt and let it cook for 5 mins.
