To get started with this particular recipe, we have to prepare a few ingredients. You can cook chili fish using 8 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Chili Fish:
  1. Prepare Fish. I use seabass, but any kind of fish should do
  2. Take Lemon juice
  3. Get Chili Sambal
  4. Make ready 1 lot of chili, preferably red
  5. Take garlic
  6. Get turmeric
  7. Get additional: red capsicum
  8. Prepare lemongrass
Steps to make Chili Fish:
  1. Pour the lemon juice on top of the fish, then fry the fish.
  2. While waiting for the fish, make the chili sambal. Blend the ingredients, except the lemongrass. Add sugar and salt, taste test it.
  3. Put the blended ingredients into pan with hot oil. Add the lemongrass and stir.
  4. After you can smell the nice aroma, stir a little bit more and then add the fish. You don't need to cook it for too long, just until the fish and the sambal is mixed.
  5. Eat it with rice while it's still warm.
