  1. Take 5-6 apples, peeled and diced
  2. Prepare 3 tbsp caster sugar
  3. Prepare 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  4. Get 100 g rolled oats
  5. Take 100 g plain flour
  6. Prepare 115 g, chilled butter
  7. Take 100 g dark brown sugar
  8. Make ready 100 g golden caster sugar
Instructions to make Apple Crumble:
  1. Preheat oven to 180c.
  2. In a bowl coat the apples well in the caster sugar then pour them into a medium deep baking dish.
  3. In another bowl mix the oats, flour, cinnamon, brown and golden caster sugar together then using your fingers rub together the dry ingredients with the butter until it resembles corse breadcrumbs.
  4. Spread the crumble mixture over the apples then pat down to spread out evenly.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Allow to rest for 20 minutes before serving. Serve warm with custard or cream.
